If you like to get out and spend some time in a great little town or do a little country cruzen the small town of Madison IN is great. Their “historic” downtown is just beautiful with it many colorful shops and eateries. The town lies between the Clifty state forest (also has a state campground) and the Ohio River. Their is a huge bridge that crosses the Ohio, and takes you into Kentucky (Dirty Turtle Offroad Park).
This quaint little town is about 20 min from the ORV park talked about above, and about 1 hr east of I-65. It has a great little campground just minutes from down town and is located on the rivers edge. Madison river walk and downtown is within walking distance.
From your camper you can get to the river banks and watching the riverboats with their cargo go up down the Ohio. The bridge also has a great walking path from one side to the other, tho their is not much on the other side but the walk is nice in itself.
If you get the chance to come here and spend a couple days it is worth the trip.
