Southwest Indiana (Jasper area)

Here we are in South West Indiana, working, and we are paying 32$ a night at a STATE  campground. Unbeknownst to us their is a 4H Fairground just off IN 162 north which happens to have a really great campground.

So on the off chance that their is an empty RV site just waiting for us we decide to have a gander and see what it’s all about.

I have to admit this has got to be one of the better, off the beaten path, campgrounds we have found. They charge 15$ a night for out of towners and 10$ for Indiana residents. You can’t find many campgrounds out their for 15 a night. They have partial hook ups (water and electric), full shower house, all paved sites and it’s very quiet and greatly wooded.

It has been a great place to just relax and get away from the big city life of Indianapolis (2 months their for work).
