Most RV problems are't visible during a walk-through. Water intrusion, roof damage, electrical faults, appliance failures, and structural issues can remain hidden until after the sale- when they're your responsibiltiy.
We have never inspected a new camper where we didn't find any issues. The average time on an assembly line for a travel trailer is 4-12 hours start to finish and in the rush to complete it many things are often missed. Without an inspection you inevitably find out those issues on your first family outing.
Yes, a Dealer will do a Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) of a very basic level where the incentive is to sell you that trailer. Their goals as a Seller and your goals as a Buyer are fundamentally not the same.
